Things Undone
I discovered SUDOKU during my last deployment.
This deployment, I haven’t been much into doing them as I have been in collecting them. I think I have collected about five–and usually pass them on to someone if they ask–because “I never do them.”
That is a shame–I should more. I’ve even got some of the unfinished books from the first deployment–as well as some that I have bought along the way.
I keep looking at them and they keep calling my name–maybe as we get into this deployment, I’ll have much more motivation to do more things like that. Now, I just want to go to bed when the day is done. Maybe it’s the heat.
The same low interest has been observed in my reading–I got alot of books, but just not a lot of reading going on.
What kind of things are you putting off?

I am sort of over my SUDOKU craze as well. I have gotten into doing logic problems instead. I bought a whole slew of books from Penny Press last summer, and have been really enjoying them. I like to have a variety of puzzles on hand though because i know I will get tired of whatever I am currently enjoying and will go back to the “old” stuff.
And I am constantly putting off cleaning my house.

I guess I have to respond because I am the master of putting things off. My mind reels with good ideas that just don’t materialize! I love to read too, and Bible study is what refreshes my soul, but I often find that needing to make calls, grandchildren and such, make it hard to find a quiet space. I think that distractions are the main culprit, my mind is not focused as we ready to say goodbye to our son who will deploy for a second time to Iraq in September. He is visiting home now on block leave and I am trying to soak up every second!
I have to agree with Stephanie, housework seems to take a back seat with me too!

Kathleen–make the most this time with your son–he will surely appreciate it. I think my second time is much harder than the first.
