Life Without a Mouse

by Chaplain Andrews on November 9, 2009

I guess I never knew a computer without a mouse—but it is really odd to work off my touchpad instead of a mouse.

A touch pad is hardly accurate and never truly works properly—but I have to use it right now. We have send my desk and tables to the states, so I have to do everything on a lap desk—without a mouse.

Now, I could set it up at the table, but it is always being used for eating (go figure) or children’s crafts—coloring, painting, and Play Dough.

I could use my mouse of the arm of the chair, as my wife does, but that is cumbersome.

So, I sit with my computer on my lap and write—I still feel weird, but I’m getting used to it.
