Cheetos and Napkins

by Chaplain Andrews on September 22, 2009

Cheetos.

Why were they ever created?

Some people really like them. I am not one of those people. I guess they taste ok, if you overlook the fact that they are incredibly messy. I guess this is a good place to reveal something about myself.

I don’t like my hands to be dirty…at all.

There are times that I eat a Big Mac or worse a Wendy’s ¼ pound Single Hamburger (or larger) that I go through ten napkins because my hands get so messy. I eat a bite and put the sandwich down to clean my hands. I take another bite, then clean my hands. It is crazy I know.

This also why I typically keep Purell or antibacterial gel with me—more so down range, but I still like to have it with me from time to time.

So, Cheetos are terrible for me.

Have you ever eaten one without making your fingers stained with orange? I think it is impossible.

They say; “It’s not easy being Cheesy”

I would say; “I don’t want to be Cheesy!”

But, wait! Stop the presses!

In my effort to link to this orange dust covered snack—Cheetos, I discovered their web site. It won’t make me eat Cheetos—but their site is pretty cool.

Check it out!

But, if you eat Cheeto—keep a napkin (or several) handy.

I just had to comment on this post because I can’t stop chuckling. I completely concur! Cheetos are not my favorite either – they are just messy….and weird with their orange cheesy coating. That sure doesn’t stop my kids and hubby from devouring them. I also can’t stand to get my hands dirty either, and use my napkins thoroughly as well. And don’t even get me started on having something the slightest bit STICKY on my hands! :) You are not alone in these “crazy” thoughts. Thanks for the chuckle!
